Job Description
This is a seasonal position with guaranteed 32 hours a week whether there is contracted work available or not, with up to 40 hours a week required during our busier months. Overtime will be available when work demands.
Landmark Acres LLC is a small family owned and operated company that specializes in Hydroseeding/Erosion and Dust Control for residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a laborer to assist with our seasonal business. All new employees can and will be trained for their assigned duties depending on their experience.
Duties to include but not limited to,
-Hydroseed helper-lifting and loading 50lb bags of hydroseed supplies, hose handling, install of silt fencing, straw wattles, erosion control blankets
-Occasional Landscaping duties-raking, shoveling
-Occasional Lawn care work-operating lawn tractors, mowers, weed whackers
-Maintaining and cleaning equipment
-Stocking inventory
Desired experience
-Former hydroseeding/landscaping/lawn care experience
-Strong abilities in truck and trailer operations
-Experience with small motor operations and trouble shooting
Eligibility Requirements
-Must have a valid driver's license
-Take care of their own travel from home to storage yard for beginning and end of day
-18 years of older
Handful of commercial jobs each year fall under Davis bacon wages. This position will be given preference for Davis Bacon work over our on-call employees.
