United Talent is immediately hiring a Japanese Translator for a company in Buffalo, WV!

Pay: $22/hour
Location: Buffalo, WV
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Job Duties:

• Interpret English to Japanese and Japanese to English during meetings
• Translate Japanese documents into English daily, including operation manuals and technical engineering documents
• Translate English documents into Japanese as needed, including contracts and customer/supplier correspondence
• Assist Japanese visitors with relocation, transportation, and personal matters
• Maintain proper documentation and record keeping
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred

Experience & Technical Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
• Ability to follow regulations, standards, safety, and environmental procedures
• Well versed in commonly used business and technical terminology
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required

Language Skills:

• Fluent in both English and Japanese
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand both languages professionally
• Additional language skills preferred

Computer/Software Skills:

• Excellent computer skills in both English and Japanese software environments
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel spreadsheets
