Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Gallatin, TN (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and end-user technology issues while delivering excellent customer service and timely ticket resolution.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on desktop support experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support both onsite and remote users across enterprise systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, VPN, and application-related issues
• Support Windows and Mac environments in an enterprise setting
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and software applications
• Manage and resolve tickets through enterprise ticketing systems
• Perform device imaging, software deployments, and system upgrades
• Support collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack
• Utilize remote support and endpoint management tools for troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Coordinate with internal teams and escalate issues when required
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely support

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Desktop Support / IT Support experience
• Strong troubleshooting experience with desktops, laptops, and hardware devices
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments
• Hands-on experience with:
• • ServiceNow
  • SCCM
  • Active Directory
  • Jamf
  • Remote support tools
• Experience supporting collaboration tools such as:
• • Microsoft Teams
  • Zoom
  • Slack
• Strong understanding of desktop imaging, software installation, and hardware replacement
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise or distribution center environments
• Knowledge of automation or scripting tools
• Experience with endpoint monitoring tools such as NextThink
• Familiarity with ITIL-based support processes
