Schedule: Monday–Friday

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Plano, TX. This role is responsible for local customer deliveries, loading and unloading materials, completing delivery documentation, and supporting warehouse operations as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable performing both driving and physical warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized materials to customer locations safely and efficiently
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload trucks using proper safety procedures
• Verify delivery paperwork and customer orders
• Coordinate product placement with customers at delivery sites
• Follow all DOT, company, and state safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area
• Assist with warehouse operations, inventory counts, and material handling as needed
• Perform basic truck checks including fluids and fuel levels

Required Experience

• Minimum 6 months of experience driving large trucks
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse or material handling experience
• Experience performing local delivery routes preferred

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience operating in warehouse distribution or plumbing/HVAC supply environments
• Experience using warehouse equipment in fast-paced settings

Required Skills

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to safely lift and move 50+ lbs consistently
• Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and delivery documentation procedures

Preferred Skills

• Electric lift operation
• Pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Loading and unloading palletized freight
• Customer delivery coordination
• Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge
• Inventory support and warehouse operations
• Route planning and time management
